Clos de Basella is the fruit of a shared history; it was created out of tradition and an unbreakable link to this region which has always been home to us, whilst also embodying the character of those individuals who give new life to these vines each day. We embody a singular fusion between loving caresses on the earth, maximum naturalness and warm-hearted teamwork driven by passionate craftsmanship. In our cellars there will be several activities available such as guided tours through the vineyard or tastings but even horseback riding sessions. We will begin with a tour of our vineyards, during which we will explain our method of vine cultivation and show you how sustainability and environmental responsibility are fundamental aspects of our work on the vineyard. Here you can find out everything there is to know about organic winegrowing, understand what biodynamic farming means, and get an insight into our approach to working within this sector. You’ll then be shown around our own biodynamic vegetable patch, whose produce forms the basis of many of the remedies used by us to nurture the soil; here too, you’ll witness first hand just how closely aligned we strive to keep ourselves with nature’s rhythms. Our journey concludes at the bodega (wine cellar), where we describe both the processes involved in making our wines and their unique features.
