4x4 circuit: The Authentic Desert

Through this circuit, we want to show you "another desert", one that allows you to move away a bit from the main tourist circuits while still visiting the key sites around Djanet, including Essendilène, the Dider rock engravings, the Erg Admer and its endless dunes, and the Tuareg village of Iherir… A different way to discover the Algerian desert.
With this 4x4 circuit, combined with some hikes, you will experience desert life as the Tuaregs live it. You will be in harmony with nature, the rhythm of the sun, and the stars. During the many proposed walks, you will admire some paintings or rock engravings along the way. The magnificent oases with their unexpectedly clear water surfaces (the Gueltas) will amaze you, with water present all year round.
